Charli D’Amelio Takes the Stage in & Juliet on Broadway!

Get ready for some Broadway buzz! Charli D’Amelio, the TikTok sensation and dancing dynamo, is set to make her thrilling debut in “& Juliet.” She’ll join the ensemble as Charmion on October 29, with performances running until January 19, 2025, at the renowned Stephen Sondheim Theatre. D’Amelio will step into the spotlight, taking over from Bex Robinson, who bids farewell to the role on October 27.

From competitive dancer to social media superstar, D’Amelio skyrocketed to fame with her TikTok dance videos, becoming the platform’s most-followed user for two consecutive years. She even took home the mirrorball trophy on the 31st season of “Dancing with the Stars.” Alongside her family, she stars in Hulu’s reality series “The D’Amelio Show.” Now, she’s ready to shine on Broadway!

“I’m beyond excited to join the Broadway community — it’s a dream I’ve had since I was a little girl,” D’Amelio expressed. “To be able to make my Broadway debut — especially in the cast of ‘& Juliet’, is truly a dream come true, and I can’t wait to share this experience with everyone.”

The talented cast of “& Juliet” also features Maya Boyd as Juliet, Paulo Szot as Lance, Betsy Wolfe as Anne, Drew Gehlig as Shakespeare, Justin David Sullivan as May, Jeannette Bayardelle as Angélique, Ben Jackson Walker as Romeo, and Philippe Arroyo as Francois. Casting is helmed by Stephen Kopel and Carrie Gardner.

This vibrant musical, featuring a Tony Award-nominated book by David West Read and an electrifying soundtrack of Max Martin pop hits, reimagines Shakespeare’s classic tale. What if Juliet survived? This fresh take leads her on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, captivating audiences since its opening on November 17, 2022. “& Juliet” received nine Tony Award nominations and recently kicked off a national tour in Baltimore this September.
