A fantastic show put on by incredibly talented performers in a beautifully designed stage.I’m not usually into musicals, but this one kept me entertained throughout. The atmosphere inside the theatre is amazing—it pulls you into the mood the moment you step in, thanks to the lighting and music. The dancers even perform before the show officially begins, adding to the immersive experience. Just a heads-up: you're reminded to turn off your cameras before entering, so be mindful of that. The play is quite long, around 3 hours, with a 15-minute intermission. The seats aren’t very spacious or comfortable, so I’d recommend stretching beforehand to stay comfortable during the performance.

The show was magnificent. However, the seating was super tight and if anyone wants to go to bathroom everyone on the row had to stand up and walk out to the sideway otherwise no one can’t move. No matter how much you spent on better and closer seat from the stage it is up to your luck if some stranger gonna block your entire view.

Best show in years! The story is great but for me the amazing aspects are how deep the creativity of the integration of the set, awesome chorography, perfomers expertise and stamina. The genius is the way the script and music were woven together. What a blast!

Spectacular first time experiencing Broadway. My only concern was they had technical difficulties when a light bulb shattered and they had to stop the show for almost 30 minutes. Otherwise, an amazing performance by JoJo and Aaron! We were mesmerized by the love and devotion to character from the cast!

Ugh I love Moulin Rouge the movie. I never thought about watching the broadway rendition until I saw Jojo was going to play Satine. I loved itttttttttttt. Straight up goddess. Saw she was coming back this year, and the vibes were immaculate on opening night. Not only did I get to see Jojo again, but Aaron too!

The theater is stunning... the entrance, bar, and bathroom areas are very small though.. the drinks are WAY overpriced for the few sips you get (about $25/drink but they're only like 6oz)... neither of us liked our drinks either..The show itself was a bit disappointing as well. It started out strong but once the lead Satine was introduced, her acting and singing completely ruined it. Christain's character also had some moments where he forgot lines and was just dead paused silent..I kept thinking he must be hungover because he looked so confused all the time. His voice eventually made a recovery during some songs but he was off pitch a lot and trying to sing outside of his range... it was likely exacerbated by his co-leads twingey, high-school style, off-pitch, screatching voice. We would literally tense up and cringe trying to survive her voice. Sounds harsh, buuuut, you're in a Broadway show, you'd think casting would be critical. Plus, zero chemistry between the characters and a few of the girls looked so bored and over it, like they didn't get paid enough to care.On that note, Satine is supposed to be the epitome of sex appeal and she never once brought that to the table. Harold's actor STOLE the show though. He was absolutely amazing in every scene and did his character flawlessly!Overall, I contemplating walking out because it was just awful. I also didn't care for the montage of current modern music. Sure, they kept some of the important songs, but the rest just didn't fit it. I came to watch Moulin Rouge, not some high school rendition that turned the penniless sitar player into a poor sailor, and where it appears this is their life's first performance on stage. We spent almost $300/ticket so while our seats were excellent, I was counting down the songs until it was over. I was just so excited for this show for so many months so to be not just slightly disappointed but weighed down with by it? Yeah, let's hope it wasn't as bad for everyone else.

The theater seats are very close together so I hope you are not seated in between two large people because you’ll be very uncomfortable. We had good seats but felt cramped. The show begins with a sort of immersive experience where workers of the oldest profession of all the sorts dressed provocatively are just wondering around the main stage and its sides. This goes on until everyone is settled in. The storyline is the typical one. I loved the melange of songs incorporated into the dialogues. Just awesomely performed and acted. Highly recommended if you come to New York.

This theater is such an NYC classic. The Moulin Rouge set fills the space, completely submerging the audience into a party atmosphere. Bartenders were eager, quick and friendly. They have the bar service down to a precise science. The bathroom traffic at intermission was competently handled by the ushers, helping lost males and females find the right path (quickly). It was amazing to watch the bathroom line move as fast as it did, and got everyone back inside and seated for the second half.Staff is definitely trained and knew what they were doing.@kplusds

The theater was decorated beautiful inside and just overall as well it was a gorgeous venue. The show was fun, I didn't expect them to work modern songs into the musical but I guess it helps to connect with a younger audience. Also the best seat is the mezzanine for when Satine lowers on the trapeze. The leads as well as the ensemble really do a wonderful job .

What a blast! We splurged and sat in the table seats in the stage. We had little tables and had space for drinks and snack with an amazing immersive view of the production. I sat next to the conductor. It was so fun to follow along with the score.David Harris, who plays the count, said Hello to me on his way on stage. Boy George was a huge draw. I really enjoyed seeing him close up. He is such a talented artist. The production was fantastic. I cried laughed and applauded till my hands were sore! And yes I bought merchandise. A lot!

Moulin Rouge featuring Boy George was the show we saw. It was well put together. The actors played their roles very well. The way the songs were put together in the storyline was fantastic.Restrooms seemed to be an issue for women during intermission, which was unfortunate bit the staff handled it well.Great theater!

Such a beautiful experience. Come for Boy George in moulin rouge, stay for the rest of the extraordinary cast and epic sets. The theatre is beautiful, and every staff member helpful and kind, including when I felt a little unwell and walked out of the show for a moment, and they immediately did everything possibly to return me to wellness and to the show 🙂 So well organised. Loved every minute and will remember it for life.

The performance was powerful at times and lacked luster at others. The first half left me feeling unimpressed, like watching a college performance, good but not great. The second half rebounded. It held my attention and was a true Broadway Musical. The performances were much better, like the team got a pep talk during the break. It's definitely worth seeing the show. Getting in and finding our seats was super easy. The workers were polite and efficient. Bathrooms were clean. The theater was very nice. The stage was in view. It was not was not too loud. BUT, the seats were made for Ms. Anderson's 3rd grade class, extremely narrow and uncomfortable. The guy next to me kept bumping me, even with me leaning over my wife to create space. While original seats, I felt sorry for larger people who came to enjoy the show.

Fantastic show! Best designed set and auditorium I've ever seen. Queues for entrance were long ( doors open at 7:20) but went down fairly quickly once opened. Theatre is beautiful and even though we had seats in 2nd back row at side ( Mezzanine row S) the only bits we missed were some of the bits done over the table seats at front. Sound was a bit quiet on some of the cast, especially Boy George but they were all fantastic. Highly recommend this show! At the end, you are quickly ushered out side doors, so if you need the toilets, go back to the central staircase or you'll miss them.

Theater is decent. Seating is a little tight. The clientele seems to be a lot of either suburban or out of towners, who don’t seem to know etiquette with watching a show. Many people talk, saying, and are just generally distracting. The staff was nice enough.View the website to get an accurate snapshot of where your seat is as there is an overhang, and the mezzanine may or may not be blocking your view

Wow! This musical blew me away! It was such a well done musical and everything was absolutely fantastic! The venue was great and it didn’t look like there was a bad seat in the house. The venue was not large so it felt intimate enough to really feel the emotions in the musical. There is only one ladies room on the first level but they move quickly and have a well organized process. You can purchase snacks and drinks to take in the theatre with you. You can take pictures before the show but they are VERY strict about no photography once the actors come out. Absolutely loved this show and would recommend when visiting NYC!
