Broadway’s enchanting musical “Hadestown” is set to welcome a trio of talented stars to the Walter Kerr Theatre! Starting January 14, 2025, Tony Award nominee Hailey Kilgore will take on the role of Eurydice, while Carlos Valdes steps into the shoes of Orpheus. Adding to the excitement, Tony nominee Tom Hewitt will return as the powerful Hades. They’ll be succeeding the remarkable Maia Reficco, Jordan Fisher, and Phillip Boykin, who’ll bid farewell on January 12.
After a six-year hiatus, Kilgore is making her much-anticipated Broadway comeback. She first dazzled audiences as Ti Moune in the 2017 revival of “Once on This Island,” earning a Tony nomination for her unforgettable performance.
Valdes, known for his roles as Cisco Ramon/Vibe in the CW hit “The Flash” and Miguel in Hulu’s “Up Here,” has also graced Broadway in “Once” and toured with “Jersey Boys.” His passion for performance shines bright!
As for Hewitt, he’s no stranger to the stage, having received a Tony nod for his captivating portrayal in the 2000 revival of “The Rocky Horror Show.” His 2025 stint as Hades will mark an impressive fourth time taking on this iconic role at the Kerr!
The current cast of “Hadestown” also features Allison Russell as Persephone and Lillias White as Hermes, along with Shea Rene, Jessie Shelton, and Brit West as the Fates, weaving a tapestry of talent that’s hard to beat.
