The 2024 Best Musical Tony Award nominee “Hell’s Kitchen” is ready to spread its wings with a national tour set to kick off in fall 2025 from Cleveland’s iconic Playhouse Square. With plans to grace over 30 cities, this is one theatrical journey you won’t want to miss!

Featuring a vibrant score filled with both beloved and brand-new songs by Alicia Keys, paired with a Tony-nominated book by Kristoffer Diaz, “Hell’s Kitchen” is a heartfelt coming-of-age tale. Follow New York City teenager Ali as she navigates the complex waters of independence and uncovers her extraordinary piano talent.

“Seeing ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ on a Broadway marquee has fulfilled one of my earliest and most influential dreams as an artist and as a New Yorker,” expressed Keys in a recent statement. “I’m overjoyed by the impact it has already had with audiences who truly mirror the world around us in New York, and I am ecstatic that we can bring the show to so many incredible cities across the country. Let’s go!”

This announcement marks the second new musical of the 2023-2024 season to start its journey from Playhouse Square, following the earlier announcement of “The Notebook”, which will premiere its national tour in September.

After previews that began on March 28, “Hell’s Kitchen” opened on Broadway on April 20 at the Shubert Theatre, directed by Michael Greif and choreographed by Camille A. Brown. The production dazzled audiences with 13 Tony nominations and took home two prestigious awards.
