Lead singer Jake Shears revealed that the inspiration for this long-awaited reunion stemmed from a lockdown-era YouTube screening of their 2007 show, Scissor Sisters: Live at the O2. Reflecting on that electrifying performance, Shears noted, “Seeing it after so many years—and interacting with fans during the event—sparked something special within us. It felt like the perfect time to relive that magic.”

It’s been over a decade since their last album, Magic Hour (2012), and even though they released the charity single “Swerlk” with MNDR in 2017, fans have been eagerly awaiting more.
