This is a review of the seats, NOT the Outsiders. The seats were okay. I’m on the bigger side of a person (size 20 pants) and am a little taller than average. I could fit inthe seats (although my hips were touching both arm rests). Leg room was a little cramped but we weren’t too uncomfortable. For ada info: There’s no elevator to the mezzanine (that we found and my mother had a cane) but the staff was very kind and accommodating to expedite us through security.

We rushed Outsiders & bought standing room tix. View was great but ushers were not. They were noisy — chatty & loud— during performance, especially 2nd act, and incredibly rude at intermission, yelling at us that we had to move due to anticipated crowd for bar (which never came). How about “Would you mind please waiting downstairs until after this bar closes?” instead of, “YOU CAN’T STAND HERE!!!” We may not have had seats, but we still paid to be there. A little respect and courtesy would have been nice.Bathrooms were fine, lines moved quick.I couldn’t believe the amount of people who showed up late. Like even half-way through show. (Cabaret doesn’t allow late admission.)

Saw The Outsiders.. great little theater. Brilliant sound overall .. except Dallas's mic went a bit muffled at the end.Especially touched by how courteous the ushers were in providing cushions for people who needed them.

Watched The Outsiders June 27, close to the back, AMAZING seats! The atmosphere was calm, the show was excellent, even Dan Berry and Victor Carillo Tracy understudying for Sodapop and Paul were way better than I expected! The cast members and audience were respectable and at the stage door, some people actually helped pass along my playbill closer to the cast. Overall a perfect experience.

I've enjoyed several wonderful performances in this beautiful theater over the years and the matinee of the great new musical, The Outsiders, was no exception - it's an excellent show with very talented artists. But I really want to commend the staff at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre for their kindness and efforts to assist my disabled friend and me - it was obvious that they sincerely wanted to help my friend, who is wheelchair-bound, to have an enjoyable experience at the theater. Thanks to the gentleman in the box office who helped me get great tickets to accommodate a wheelchair, thanks to the security personnel who helped us through the crowd outside and thanks to the ushers who pointed out the wheelchair-accessible restroom and then helped us navigate the crowd and get to our seats.
