Had the opportunity to visit the Marquis Theatre to see The Wiz back in May.The theatre is located upstairs in the Marquis Hotel. This venue doesn’t necessarily give the typical feel of a traditional or historic Broadway theaters and if you are not aware of the hotel it can be a little challenging to find. Especially if you are looking for one of those traditional venues. With the exception of slightly and I do mean slightly roomier seating you have all the theatre standards of the bar, snacks, and available souvenirs. The show itself is a revival of the iconic original musical, later adapted to a film, now with slightly modern influences. The Wiz was fun, lively and memorable. From the vocals to the dance numbers it’s definitely an enjoyable time.Just A Note:The Wiz had a limited run on Broadway and now will be traveling. If it comes to your city check it out.

The WIZ Was worth traveling from California I truly had a great experience but the seats are small and tight the drinks and souvenirs are expensive (example a hoodie is 70$) best to bring you food and snacks buy some miniature liquor bottles, and make your own drink and a water bottle save money. Everything is up charge in New York.

Went to this theater to check out The Wiz. I was a bit skeptical about a theater joint with a hotel; though, surprisingly it did not interfere with our experience. We sat in orchestra and our view was fantastic. Out of the many Broadway theaters, this place has some of the most comfortable seats around. I would recommend checking it out for yourself!

My sister and I went to see The Whiz last night at the Marquis Theatre, which is located on the third level of the Marriott Resorts and Hotels on W 46th…If we could give them more then 5stars, we most definitely would. They definitely did MJ and Diana Ross proud. High energy cast! Love the choreography! Highly recommend to anyone and would sit through it again if given the chance.

Updated and Modern theater! Comfortable, plush seating, I had orchestra seats for The Wiz. The theater itself is impeccably maintained. Very clean, not a bad seat in the house! And of course it’s Broadway come on, the Broadway shows are amazing! When in New York, I try to fit in at least one Broadway show! On this trip, I got in two and by chance, next door to each other! There is an escalator to get upstairs as some theaters in New York do not.

I loved the theatre. It was my first time there. We went to see The Wiz. The seats we had were on the upper mezzanine in row K, and we could see the show just as good as in the lower level. I have to say the leg room wasn't bad either. I would definitely attend another show in the Marquis Theatre again.

This is a beautiful theater with comfortable seating and awesome sound and lighting. The lobby has plenty of room with tons of restrooms on each floor. There are also two parking garages across the street with great rates that are owned by a different company..I'm definitely looking forward to the next big show that they host
